Quick answer
The DC Deck-Building Game Party/Starter Edition is the same classic game in a smaller, lower-priced package—great for new players or casual groups. Choose the original if you want the full-size box and all original components.
What’s the same, what’s different
The Party/Starter Edition delivers the same core gameplay that made the DC Deck-Building Game a hit since 2012. You still build your personal deck, recruit iconic heroes, and defeat supervillains. The main difference is the package: a smaller box with fewer components, aimed at a lower price point.
This edition is designed for quick setup and portability, making it ideal for parties or as an entry point for new players. If you already own expansions or prefer a larger box with room for sleeves and promos, the original edition remains the better choice.
