Amelia ★★★★★

I've played the original Epic Spell Wars, and as a deck-builder this version finally lets me chain spells without cleanup fuss. The cards work with the Cerberus Engine too, so mixing sets is a blast. Pure

The chaotic spell-slinging from the original card game carries over perfectly, and building your wizard's deck turn by turn adds a whole new layer of strategy. Matches can drag a bit if someone hoards cards, but the Annihilageddon trophy makes every round feel worth it.

Penelope F. ★★★★★

The deck-building twist on the spell-slinging chaos is way more addictive than I expected, and games still wrap up in under an hour. Being able to mix in cards from the other sets means our group never plays the same match twice.
