Gandalf adds quite possibly the strongest Starting Cards in Cerberus history to your deck right from the start. The Turn of the Tide gives you +2 Power and the ability to discard cards from your deck right from the start.
These promo cards were originally released with The Lord of the Rings:The Two Towers Deck-Building Game.
Didn't expect the promo pack to change my opening hand this much, but that extra Power on Turn of the Tide makes the first few turns way less punishing. Gandalf himself feels like the strongest starting card I've played with in a while, and he fits straight into the deck without any tweaking.
The Gandalf promo completely changes how fast my deck gets going, that early Power boost lets me play threats way sooner than usual. Sleeved it right away and it sits at the front of my starting lineup every game now.
Turn of the Tide giving +2 Power right from the start makes the opening turns so much faster, and Gandalf's starting cards genuinely feel like the strongest I've played with. Didn't expect a promo pack to change how a deck runs this much.
