I bought these to finally make a custom hero for my deck, and the blank cards take marker and paint without smudging. Three blank cards plus the hero gives you room to mess up once and still have a usable set.

The blank hero card has just enough border room to sketch a decent portrait without the ink bleeding. I used a fine-tip marker on all four and they held up through a few games. Nice that it's four cards total, not just one.

Bought these to make a custom Finn card for our game nights, and the blank hero card has a nice matte finish that pencil actually sticks to. Only gripe is you get just three blank cards, so one bad drawing and you're done.
